Type: Chocolate/Caramel/Malt
Made by the same company that makes Malteasers, I thought this would something like bridge mix. And it is, except it’s all milk chocolate. Inside the package are an assortment of little chocolate coated spheres. The largest ones are Malteasers, which I rather like. There are also some little dense disks of pure milk chocolate and some chocolate covered raisins. After that it gets a little more curious. There are what I have to assume are caramels but they’re so hard, I didn’t dare try to eat them. The package also mentions two other surprise items: coffee and orange. I think I found the coffee one, which was a crumbly center with a light coffee taste to it. I don’t think I got an orange one.
The chocolate is milky but not creamy. Sweet but not chocolatey. The chocolate is good for the malt because it’s such a strong flavor itself, but for the rest of the mix, it’s rather cheap tasting. And the fact that you only get 35 grams (1.2 ounces) is pretty sad, too when you consider that M&Ms come in 1.7 ounce packages.
I will avoid this little packet as much as possible in the future.

M&M’s should do something like the Revels. Imagine having crispy, peanut butter, plain, caramel, and peanut M&M’s all in one bag. I think that would be fun.
oh no it’s not you, it’s not a bad bag, that stuff’s bleh, you got it right baby
but p.s. isn’t marvo‘s idea brilliance?
Dang, Marvo ... that is a great idea!
God I love revels!
Revels used to come in much bigger bags (no, it wasn’t that we were younger and thus smaller); most Brits will back me up, as well as sharing that childhood ugh-moment when they bit into the coffee ones.
nicks’ correct, although you can get large bags in some shops and cinemas. they recently advertised these in a spoof of the ‘russian roulette’ scene from The Deerhunter, that was actually quite funny.
I bought a tube of revels, and when I opened them, they were in a bag, half the size of the tube,I was very angry,as this is decieving the customers,I counted them and there was 23 revels in the bag, which is a total disgrace.I for one, will never be buying revels again.
mint idea marvo! wud be lush wudnt it?
Go and buy your cheap american M & M candy bags. European chocalate is the best
Dear sir, your comments upset me!
I for one find the revels as a brilliant confecttionary and you are a [removed by admin] for thinking anything different
No way. I get them mailed to me from the UK and they’re delicious. The caramels are not hard when they’re fresh.
I love Revels! It’s the only thing I ask my sister for from England. The only flavor I don’t enjoy is the coffee - definitely wrong for me. But all the others are a delight!
For Pete’s sake, stop calling them Malteasers. There’s nothing teasing about them. M-A-L-T-E-S-E-R-S.
I’m from England and have been reading through your British reviews, because it’s interesting to get another perspective =) But I love revels! It’s the not knowing that’s addictive. And it broke through my dislike of coffee confectionary
