Coming up this week

Since I’ve gotten so many emails and comments about the new Target line of candy called Choxie, I thought I’d let everyone know that I went and purchased some today.

I’ll take some photos and have some reviews next week (or maybe the week after).

Also in the queue for review right now (in no particular order):

Choxie Hot Chocolate Bar
Choxie Chocolate Tiles
Choxie Spiced Caramels
Cadbury Dairy Milk Bubbly
Nestle Overload Peanut Butter Cups (Butterfinger, Crunch & Candies)
Trader Joe’s Slate of Bliss (Espresso & Cocoa Nibs)
Reese’s Candy Bars - NutRageous, SnackBarz, FastBreak & ReeseSticks
Haribo Mega-Roulette
Chupa-Chups Whistle Pops
Ritter Sport - Cappuccino & Rum, Raisin & Nuts
Karuna Manija XL
Vilniaus Pergale Dubingiai
Danutes Vaflinis pyragas
Sostines Kartusis sokoladas
Karuna Pieninis Sokoladas
Princas Pieninis Sokoladas
Veliuona Saldainis
Hershey’s Mocha Almond (Limited Edition)
Divine Fair Trade Chocolate
Equal Exchange Fair Trade Chocolate
Harry London Mint Cookie Bar
Abba Zabba
Toothache Candy

Okay, maybe that’s more than a week’s worth of candy ... and who’s to say that I won’t get something else and want to shoehorn it in there sooner.

  1. I’ve just been reading this blog and your Fast Fiction blog and had to say I really enjoy both. Especially this candy one smile It makes me want to do something of my own and review, I dunno, socks or something wink

    Keep up the great work!

rebecca - a review styled blog is actually a lot of fun. There are several I read that do a great job and are fun to comment on because eating is such a communal thing.

Reviews for just about anything are cool, especially if it’s something we all have in common - sock cross the gender barrier, so it’s a great topic. A friend also said that she wanted to do a lipgloss review blog, which’d be cool and hopefully have great photos (so the guys might enjoy it too!).

I bought some more stuff yesterday, so I’ll probably add to this in a bit. I think I have enough to get me through NaNoWriMo now. I just need the weather to clear up so the light is good enough for photos.

  5. Those Slate of Bliss bars from TJs have been calling my name. I’m really interested in those Choxie candies too… for Target, they’re pretty pricey! I’d rather walk in to a See’s and get two truffles for a buck (3, because they give you a sample) then take a chance on $5 Target truffles.

Thanks for taking so many delicious bullets for your readers!

natty - here’s a secret for you, the slate of bliss stuff might actually be the same as choxie (but costs 20% less)... I’m still doing some investigation and I’ll have more to report later this week.
