I picked up this curious alternate version of Mars’ malted milk balls called Malteasers in white chocolate a month or so ago. I was ready to review them, then it got very hot in Los Angeles. So hot that even the candy I store in insulated coolers (no ice or anything) actually melted. It was in the high nineties in my candy room.
So you’ll just have to enjoy the photo.
Package photo here and review of the regular Malteasers here.
but did you eat them anyway? white maltesers are really tasty, and i vastly prefer them to the standard variety (which are already way, way better than Whoppers!)
You have a candy room?? That’s even more awesome than the present wrapping room in the Spelling Mansion. Please post photos.
Ruffy - I haven’t eaten them ... yet. But I probably will. The few I tried had a nice milky flavor that goes well with the malt.
Joseph - yup, it’s a little bedroom I converted into a studio to photograph & store my candy. Here’s a shot
omg u have a CANDY ROOM???
jealous!!! hahaha
Malt candies are usually good. I will try these one day, preferably not melted. People are funny ..... and curious .... ha-ha-ha! Amazing how folks DO read and definitely pay attention to what YOU say Cybele! Re: “Candy room” .... the last two words of your above (short) paragraph. Making a life-long(right?)hobby/journey/career in the wonderful world of candy bewilders most of us to really-really wonder how you do it. Sure, anyone could try, but it isn’t as easy as it seems.
HAPPY FALL/WINTER CANDY SEASON to you Cybele!
Maltesers (there’s no second “a” in the name) are also widely available in Canada. I haven’t seen the white ones before but they wouldn’t be my thing anyway. I love the regular ones.
