Sockerbit, the Swedish candy shop in New York City, finally opened a West Coast store ... and it’s walking distance from my office.
The past couple of times I’ve been over there, I’ve picked up a scoop of Polly. They’re little nougat nuggets dipped in chocolate. They’re cute, kind of like Milk Duds in the consistency of the chew but with a rum note to them. Here’s my original review of selections I picked up in the New York City store.
There’s a world of candy out there ... what are you eating this summer?
Is it kind of like a (morselized!) Charleston Chew?
My friend brought me back a selection of chocolates from Hotel Chocolat in the UK, so I’ll be working my way through those over the next month
Sour Watermelon Slices from Target - their Market Pantry brand. So good.
I like Polly!!! Just got my self a bag of green tea KitKat been munching on them…..
These are my favourite chocolate candy product.
Ikea used to sell them in their UK stores but stopped. :(
(Hey, just found your blog when googling skittles. Love candy and it will be fun to read random posts!)
Oh Polly. I love it so much. I’m Swedish so it’s obviously easy to come by for me. Was so happy when they introduced it to the pick ‘n’ mix selection (as that’s how we tend to buy candy here and I most certainly do)
As for hat I’m eating this summer… I recently came home from four months in Canada (+ one in the States) so I’m just happy to be eating Swedish candy again! Especially Swedish milk chocolate.
