Eat with your Eyes: Anise & Coffee

Chuao Coffee & Anise

Another Chuao bar, made with exquisite Venezuelan chocolate. This was coffee and anise which is an amazing combination.

  3. Hard to find? I actually managed to find some of these at my local Wal-Mart, almost jumped to buy them but didn’t because A. I can’t stand coffee, even if I love licorice, and B. they were all broken. Seriously, every last one. -_-

  5. Oh, so I grabbed one of these at Walmart today.  Not that great actually.  The ground coffee makes it very gritty, like eating sand.  Not much star anise flavor.  Not terrible, but I won’t buy it again.  Might still try the Panko bar.

Also comes in sugar-free, which i accidently picked up first.  None of the bars were broken at my local store.
