They’re not bad, but by the end of one I always feel a little sick. Maybe a little too sweet- and nothing in the world can match the crumbly, salty goodness in the middle of a Reese’s Cup…
My husband liked them as well, but I found them to be too sweet. I think the problem with any new product with peanut butter and chocolate (especially made by Reese’s) is that I will always compare it to a Reese’s cup which is really just the perfect food so of course everything else disappoints.
Not me I am a candy addict. One would just be a tease or a torture. That’s why now the ordinary cup won’t even please me. I have to eat the new Thicker cup with more chocolate.
I thought the Whipps was pretty good! I can’t say I’d get it over a Peanut Butter Cup, but I certainly didn’t mind eating the.. err.. couple… that I had!
I found that the whip was actually very bland. I couldn’t really taste any of the delicious, salty peanut butter that I’m used to. I understand that it is SUPPOSED to be fluffy and airy but it takes away from the taste of the actual candy piece itself. Half the fat, half the flavor.
No doubt, they’re not as peanutty as a Reeses cup, but they’re darn tasty. They remind me of peanut butter mixed with marshmallow fluff (flavorwise if not texturewise).
