Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to find Cry Baby Tears candy.  I don’t mean the Minis (the ones with the shiny candy shell on the outside) - those seem to be readily available.  I’m looking for the original version of the candy, which was larger and basically the consistency of a SweetTarts / Smarties / etc.  I found one picture, linked here, of what the candy I’m referring to looks like.

The last time I found these was at the downtown market in Charleston, SC when I was visiting a friend there about four years ago.  They’re one of my favorite candies, and although I’ve resigned myself to the assumption that they no longer exist, I’d appreciate any help in either confirming that (so I can stop wondering) or finding some (so I can eat them!).

The only place I’ve seen them is in the quarter machines on the way out of the grocery store, so I know they exsist Im just not sure if they exsist in larger quantaties.

Heh, maybe I should send you a roll of quarters and a ziploc baggie?  At least they still make them:  that’s the first step.  :D
