Something I purchased this year that I hadn’t seen before: Sour Patch Jelly Beans.  They taste somewhat like the original Sour Patch Kids, but not QUITE as tart, I’m finding.

I was also thrilled to see a huge return of Runts Freckled Eggs (in big bags)!

Peloria - I saw those at Target too, here’s a photo.

I wasn’t quite sure if they had a candy shell and then a sour coating, or if they were just sour sanded jelly balls.

They have a sour coating similar to that of sour patch kids, but less grainy.  Basically jelly balls with a slight sour sanding. I’d prefer the kids over them though. The Nerds jelly beans (originally called Giant Chewy Nerds) are also out this year, and are fantastic, as usual.

Love this website/blog ... Looking to find Milkyway Easter Eggs - absolutely fabulous, could not find them Easter 2009, Chicagoland area, Michigan.  Are they still out there somewhere?  Tried the Canadian Mars caramel bar hoping for the Milkyway Egg/Caramel experience, I found the caramel flavor weak ... Mars caramel is not the same, however I have yet to get at a Milkyway Caramel bar -  thanks for the news Candyblog - I am hoping it has the Milkyway vs Mars caramel, it could be the Milkyway Easter Egg in disguise/new clothes and therefore available every day of the year!!  Have I answered my own question.Oh boy.  Getting very excited over candy talk!  Keep up the great postings.
