They are limited editions. The funny thing is that they’re a tie in for Indiana Jones in the US, but overseas (in Asia) they released them as a summer limited edition (with no marketing tie in).
I’m wondering if they’ll come back as a seasonal item perhaps. The Dark Chocolate M&Ms;started as a marketing tie in for the Star Wars movie ... so you never know.
It also never hurts to send a note to the company to let them know that you want to continue buying them.
I hope they decide to keep them! I miss the Cripsy M&M;‘s beyond belief, and the Mint are my other favorite(which I hate having to wait until Novembe rto get them!). So tying the two together is perfect to me. Although I must admit, it felt strange eating a minty M&M;without there being snow on the ground!!
I was in M&M;‘s world last week asking about the Christmas mint M&m;‘s, and the worker there seemed to think that they were going to make the mint crisp (Indiana Jones) a regular flavor. But I don’t know how much to trust him since he had never heard of the regular mint M&Ms;and kept saying the two were the same.
