Sunrise Mart is having an anniversary event featuring traditional candy and snacks.  Their flyer shows more pictures of sembei than of candies, but there should be plenty of candy too.  It reads as follows:

Time travel to the old Japan “DAGASHI Matsuri”
April 4th & 5th (Sat & Sun) from 12pm-8pm at SoHo Store

“DAGASHI” Japanese Old Fashion Candies & Snacks

Over 100 kinds of unique dagashi and snacks wil be exclusively sold at Sunrise Mart.  It’s like a Japanese version of Economy Candy (est. 1937) in the Lower East Side.

FUN EVENT for kids under 12 years old
Free “5-yen” token for kids under 12 years old which can be exchanged for 5 dagashi or raffle games. (1 token per child.)
Limited numbers of tokens will be available on site.

*We are also giving out tokens in advance at both Astor Place and SoHo stores before April 4th.
