I did a little round of shopping today and noticed some new things on the shelves.

Russell Stover’s marshmallow pumpkins are back (I only saw marshmallow and marshmallow + caramel, but their website says there are more versions).

Russell Stover brought back their eggs from Easter, but now calling them Buzzard Eggs. CVS had the 3D ones (caramel & marshmallow).

See the full array here.

What have you seen that’s new for 2008’s Halloween season?

I know these are not really candy…but JetPuff have come out with halloween shaped marshmallows, black cats, white ghosts, orange pumpkins.  Kind of a clever idea to jump on the bandwagon…

Sort of on that note . . . I’m a roasted marshmallow addict (sometimes I sit on the porch of my condo a toast marshmallows in a flowerpot filled w/ charcoal!) and recently my boyfriend brought home for me stawberry and chocolate flavored ones!! I’m pretty sure they are not new but they were to me! Very tasty in Rice Crispie Treats!!
