Hi All,  I am new to blogging and this is my first time here.  I am so glad that I found this site by doing a Google search.  My infatuation is with barley candy.  My mother bought it for us when we were kids and I loved it then and love it even more now.  I had been ordering it through a company in Virginia and never realized that the summertime brought problems in ordering.  It seems that this candy is difficult to make when the weather is humid.  I have had an order in for well over a month and still don’t know when I’ll receive it.  Had I known that several months ago, I would have ordered a massive amount of candy.

My question is this:  Does anyone know of a reputable candy company that sells this candy and hopefully doesn’t charge copious amounts for shipping and handling?  Some companies charge as much, if not more for S&H;than the candy that you are ordering.

The reason why I am so desperate to get this candy is that I have a medical condition that constantly leaves my mouth dry.  I am also on oxygen 24/7 which also contributes to this problem.  Barley candy is the only hard candy that keeps my tongue from sticking to the roof of my mouth.

I would appreciate any and all help you can give me here.  I cannot make the candy here at home due to the fact that I’m on the oxygen, so I have to buy it.  Lollipops, gems, shaped pieces….It doesn’t matter.  I just need this candy….Thank you all in advance who help me!

Not being that familiar with barley candy, I don’t know what the price ranges are.  Here are a few websites that sell the candy.  Maybe one of them can give you what you are looking for at a reasonable price:

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your answer.  I am familiar with two of those companies, but their S&H;is quite expensive.  I will definitely look into the other two though.  Thanks again for helping!
