Right now there isn’t much to report on my life. I’m taking a little break from school since I’m about 6 classes away from graduating with a Bachelors in Business Admin, and I think I want to change my major. (Again!)

I’m spending the summer learning about the new laptop I just got, Gateway P 6860 FX. I am so in love with this computer! And it was just an amazing miracle that I have it. My other gateway was 2 yrs old and still under warrenty with Best Buy, when the screen light burned out. So when they sent it to the warehouse for repair, it got damaged pretty badly. Luckily I had backed up everything to disk before sending it. But then Best Buy credited me for the entire cost of it from when I first bought it, instead of giving me the depreciated value of it which enabled me to get the latest and fastest laptop Gateway had just put out. Our store here in the midwest is just awesome!

I’m also trying to teach myself how to use all of the various photo editing software and graphic software that I can get my hands on. So far, Photoshop is still my favorite. Although I just downloaded the free Paint.net program to try, and love the simplicity of it if you just need to do quick editing. Mostly for drawings or web images. I’m also learning how to take better pictures of various objects like, things in nature, food/candy and of course people. My favorite people shots are the ones where they don’t know you’re taking them. I’m not a big fan of posed photos.
