In looking for people of the Cranton last name, I came across a gentleman from South Africa who told me his first name was Cranton, given after the favorite candy of his Grandfather, Cranton Crisps.
Has anyone any information on this candy?? I am guessing it must have been around the 1920"s-1940’s sometime??
Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I was in Brussels a few years ago. A street vendor was selling these small cone-shaped jelly candies. They had a soft jelly interior and a powdery semi-soft crust. Hard to explain… The ones I had were a light purple color and a fruit flavor. Does anyone know what these are called and where I can get them?
