Hammond’s Candies of Denver makes stunningly beautiful candy canes in striking flavors. This one is Nutmeg (with all natural ingredients).

  1. Sounds nice! Looks a little coca-cola’ish…

  2. Hammonds also makes a clove flavor that is really good.

  3. Did you actually taste this? I am trying to wrap my mind around an entire cane simply nutmeg flavored and I can’t decide if it would be good or one of those things that makes you question that they were thinking.

Gigi - yeah, I ate it. I didn’t review it because I couldn’t find them for sale anywhere, and I know that’s frustrating to readers. It tastes like sweet nutmeg. Like a less custardy version of Egg Nog.

Marilyn - yes, I like that they’re not using artificial colors in them too, so that makes the spice flavors more intense.

TriciaGab - I would love a Cola cane! I know they make a nice root beer one (that could be more root-beery for me).
